Our experience

Boating has been a lifelong passion for Tracy, founder of the PerthRecreationalBoatingAcademy. With over 35 years of accomplished experience in and around Perth waters, the passion to become a qualified commercial skipper along with the desire to introduce others to the joy of boating led to the creation of PRBA.
Before the introduction of the RST we provided training and assessment for the precursor Department of Planning and Infrastructure Boatsmart Certificate and prior to this the TL3/National Powerboat
handling Certificate and personal powerboat handling tuition.

In addition to the RST which is the entry-level qualification for recreational boating, Tracy is qualified to deliver the more comprehensive National Powerboat Handling Certificate under the National Accredited Powerboat Training Scheme and is a qualified YAWA Senior Instructor
